Campsite

Family
campsite in the area around the ‘Rivers’ area in the
heart of the Betuwe.
In 1969 the former De Waaij fruit farm was transformed into a
genuine family campsite, which for many years now has been a permanent
holiday address for many guests.
Your children and grandchildren need never be bored at this campsite,
as at De Waay there’s something for everyone.
Whether you want to take part in sport or just laze around there’s
plenty of choice!
For instance, you can work off your energy at one of our many
sports facilities such as the new multifunctional sports field
where you can play tennis, basketball or football.
Then you can relax to your heart’s content on the beach
or grassy sunbathing area with your children in view as they amuse
themselves in the big playground on several air trampolines and
lots of other fun equipment, and yes, daddy and mummy, unfortunately
there’s a sandpit too !!

If you want to be entertained, that’s easily done: our professional
team from Enjoy is at hand to keep you amused from early morning
until late evening. Organised play for children, a children’s
fun theatre, bingo, theme evenings, disco evenings, Chinese lantern
trips with a camp fire – these are just a few examples of
activities which it’s their great pleasure to organise for
you.

The delicious smell of freshly baked rolls greets you as you walk
past our minishop. This is also the place for your morning newspaper,
and it also has a limited range of foods.
If you don’t fancy cooking (it’s holiday time, after
all), you can make a beeline for our traditional pub, which has
a small menu, or a tasty quick snack in our cafeteria.
The pitches are spaciously set out and suitable for all kinds
of camping, from tent to motorhome.
You can choose from one of our cosy camping circles or the campsites
by the recreation pool or playground.
Each pitch has all the facilities you would expect to find at
a four-star campsite, such as electrical supply (6 amps), water,
sewerage, cable TV and of course free Wi-Fi.
